Partnership with Caritas Vorarlberg
We have been supporting the work of Caritas in Vorarlberg for many years, specifically the
Mother and Child House in Feldkirch.
Our visit to the house during the Advent period has become a popular tradition. This time we brought along a cheque for €20,000 to support a childcare pilot project.
And Doris Müller, Director of the Home, was delighted to receive it on behalf of the organisation.
This pilot projects involves providing childcare support to mothers struggling with mental issues who live alone with their young children. The availability of defined childcare times helps mothers to improve the structure of their everyday lives, develop regular routines and plan their appointments more easily. Reliable childcare also provides stability and security in emergencies, for instance when mothers are hospitalised.
