PIA – prevention, counselling and therapy in cases of sexual violence
In cooperation with SPAR Oberösterreich, Ölz der Meisterbäcker launched a sales campaign to support the PIA association many years ago.
The two family businesses SPAR and Ölz der Meisterbäcker have a tradition of collecting money for a good cause by selling baked goods. This year, the cooperation raised 8.760 € for the charitable organisation PIA that offers counselling and therapy in cases of sexual violence and advocates prevention and sexual education.
Jakob Leitner, Managing Director of the SPAR Headquarters in Marchtrenk, and Brigitta Fehringer, Head of Assortment Management at the SPAR Headquarters in Marchtrenk, handed over the donation check amounting to 8,760 euros to PIA Chairwoman Viktoria Grünberger. They were joined by Mario Holzbauer, Ölz Regional Sales Manager for Upper Austria (from the right).
Aside from counselling services, PIA also organises prevention workshops for schools, clubs and organisations to raise awareness of prevailing taboo topics.
