Energy management
A love of craftsmanship and a responsible approach to energy go hand in hand at Ölz. With well thought-out energy management in accordance with ISO 50001, we focus on efficient processes and sustainable production. This allows us to save energy, purchase it consciously and produce some of it ourselves.
Green electricity
By opting for green electricity, we have chosen energy that is generated locally and sustainably. Vorarlberg green electricity is 100% renewable energy, most of which is generated from hydropower – without any carbon emissions.
Heat recovery
The Ölz heat recovery sustainability project can save around 245 tonnes of CO2 each year.The recovered heat is fed into the company’s existing heating network and therefore used twice.
Photovoltaics
With the expansion of our photovoltaic system to 3,240 m², we are sending a strong signal in favour of renewable energy. The system achieves a maximum output of 960 kWp - that corresponds to the annual requirements of around 166 households. In this way, we produce part of our energy ourselves and strengthen our independence from external sources.
WWF Earth Hour
We support the WWF campaign for clear and binding climate targets! Electric lighting – a self-evident part of our everyday lives. But also an area in which we want to make a responsible contribution.

Our aim is not only to offer first-class products, but also to reduce plastic waste, optimise packaging materials and thus make a contribution to environmental protection.
