klimaaktiv Pakt partners

In this way, we are continuing and building upon the successful activities in the field of energy efficiency from the klimaaktiv Pakt2020. Since 2005, for example, we have already been able to reduce the energy requirements for our bakery by a third per kilogram of baked goods.
 

The klimaaktiv Pakt is the climate protection alliance of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK). 
As a participant of the klimaaktivPakt2030, we are making a greater contribution to the climate goals of the EU and Austria. On 18 October 2021, Managing Director and co-owner Florian Ölz signed the klimaaktiv Pakt2030 for Ölz der Meisterbäcker together with Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler.

CO₂ reduction of at least 50% by 2030* – this is the common goal of the klimaaktiv Pakt2030 

• We have defined a shared goal together with 10 other alliance partners – more climate protection! 
• The common objective of all 11 klimaaktiv Pakt partners is to reduce CO₂ emissions by at least 50% by 2030*. 
• This is a voluntary and binding commitment. The associated measures are certainly ambitious. 
• A key element in the klimaaktiv Pakt is an external monitoring mechanism to oversee progress and review the targets. Monitoring takes place  annually .

By joining the klimaaktiv Pakt2020 initiative, we have committed to, and achieved, improvements in energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, buildings and mobility by 2020.

.The declared goal: emitting 1.39 million tonnes less CO2 over the entire period. 

The Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT) honoured us for the fifth time for our extraordinary commitment to energy efficiency.

• Energy savings in heating, ventilation and air conditioning through efficient energy distribution
