100% genuine honey from bees

Gourmets can rest assured – Ölz baked goods are made with only genuine honey from bees. A clear strategy is needed when buying honey – so we only use bees’ honey from the EU! The honey is regularly checked by an independent institute – in addition to the suppliers’ standard analyses. For instance, customers will find genuine honey from bees in the Ölz Butter Plait with Honey and the poppy filling contained in the Ölz Poppy Stollen. As an ingredient, honey from bees adds the exquisite finishing touches to our baked goods.
 

The best recipes and raw materials are the building blocks for premium baked goods. The careful use of resources is a top priority for us at Ölz Meisterbäcker and an integral part of our sustainability strategy. For instance, we use 100% FAIRTRADE-certified cocoa, alpine butter and fresh alpine milk from Austria for our baked products. In 2022, Ölz der Meisterbäcker switched from using eggs from barn farming and has since trusted exclusively in eggs from controlled free range farming. Ölz der Meisterbäcker is therefore the first European baked goods brand to guarantee the use of eggs exclusively from controlled free range farms!
